Las Encinas

Las Encinas is a popular tract located within the enclave of Newbury Park. Formerly inhabited by the Chumash Natives beginning 7,000 years ago, Newbury Park is now one of the safest and wealthiest communities in the United States. Newbury Park is part of the City of Thousand Oaks, whose economy is based on a small range of businesses, with aerospace, biotechnology and electronics being prime examples. Nestled in the southeastern corner of Ventura County, between the Santa Monica Mountains and Wildwood Regional Park, Newbury Park offers numerous hiking trails and outdoor activities and offers breath-taking views of the Boney Mountains. Las Encinas offers three and four bedroom floor-plans ranging from 2000 to 2800 square feet. Most models were built in 1997-2000 and feature two or three car garages, generous-sized lots and views of Mt. Boney. An added attraction is the lack of a home-owner's association. Las Encinas falls within the Conejo Valley Unified School District and is located close to the Civic Arts Plaza, Oaks Mall and fine dining.
